Concordance search

Search Translation Memory for a word or phrase and review the source and target segments where it appeared.

The concordance box in either editor's TM panel searches for a word or phrase. The results show stored source and target segments containing that expression for the current language pair.

Where to find it

• The concordance search box is in the right inspector of both editors, alongside Segment resources.
• Results show matching TM pairs for the document's language pair.

How it differs from fuzzy matching

Fuzzy matching compares the whole current segment with saved segments. Concordance searches for the expression you enter, even when the rest of a saved sentence is unrelated. Use it to check earlier wording before you edit the current target.
