Getting started

Quickstart

Run a first text translation or upload a first document from the dashboard.

You can translate text as soon as the dashboard opens. Document translation needs a supported file and a target language. The optional controls can be left at their defaults for a first test.

Translate your first text

1

Create an account and open the dashboard

Sign up at deepreference.com. You can start with a 1-month free trial of Translator Pro, no card needed. After email verification you land on the dashboard translator.

2

Pick your languages

Choose the source language (or leave it on auto-detect) and the target language. That's the only required setting.

3

Paste your text and translate

Paste into the left panel and hit Translate. The result appears on the right, with formatting preserved.

4

Optional: refine with tone, mode, and domain

Above the panels you can switch between natural and literal mode, pick one of nine tones, and (from Starter up) select a specialized domain like legal or medical.

Translate your first document

1

Upload a file

On the dashboard, switch to Documents and upload a DOCX, PDF, XLSX, or PPTX file. We extract the text, split it into segments, and translate each one.

2

Watch it process

Progress shows live. A typical office document takes a couple of minutes depending on length.

3

Review, or just download

When it finishes you can download the translated file straight away, or open it in the Translation editor to review segment by segment before exporting.

4

Export

Download the translated document with its original layout, or export as PDF or plain text.

Approving segments in the editors saves them to your Translation memory, so the second document you translate already benefits from the first.
