Reviewing locale conventions
Review number formats, quotation marks, and punctuation against the target language and client requirements.
Number separators, quotation marks, and spacing vary by language and client style. DeepReference does not currently provide an automatic locale-formatting conversion switch. Review these details before delivery, especially in financial and legal documents.
What to review
- Numbers and dates: check amounts, decimal separators, units, and date order. Preserve identifiers and version numbers unless the client requests a change.
- Punctuation and quotation marks: follow the target language and the agreed house style. Check spaces and quotation marks in the final document.

Warnings need review
QA warnings identify possible differences; they do not certify the meaning of an amount or date. A valid language adaptation can trigger a warning, and a house style can differ from general conventions.
