Concordance search
Search Translation Memory for a word or phrase and review the source and target segments where it appeared.
Type a word or phrase into the concordance box in either editor's TM panel. The results show stored source and target segments containing that expression for the current language pair.
How to use it
Open the TM panel in an editor
The concordance box sits under the match list for the current segment.
Search a word or phrase
Results show matching TM pairs for the document's language pair. Scan how the phrase was handled and reuse what fits.
How it differs from fuzzy matching
Fuzzy matching compares the whole current segment with saved segments. Concordance searches for the expression you enter, even when the rest of a saved sentence is unrelated. Use it to check earlier wording before you edit the current target.
