Getting started

Account and preferences

Change the interface language, document-completion emails, password, security options, and account deletion settings.

The settings in this article are available from the account area of the dashboard. Some security and team options appear only when the account or plan supports them.

Interface language

The interface is available in English, Italian, German, Spanish, French, Russian, Chinese, and Arabic. Changing this preference does not change the source or target language of a translation. The Arabic interface uses a right-to-left layout.

Email delivery of finished documents

Enable email delivery in settings to receive a message when each document finishes, or select the option for one upload. Processing continues on the server after the browser window closes. Use the Cancel command if you need to stop a job.

Product news and marketing emails

Marketing email is optional and off by default. Enable Email communications during signup or in settings to receive product news, newsletters, and blog updates. Turn it off in settings or use the unsubscribe link in a marketing message. Essential account and security messages are handled separately. See Communications for details.

Password

Change your password in settings: at least 12 characters with upper case, lower case, and a digit. If you signed up recently, your email address was verified at signup, so a reset link goes there.

Two-factor authentication

Enable 2FA with a compatible authenticator app by scanning the QR code and confirming a generated code. Store the one-time recovery codes outside the account in case the authenticator is unavailable. A sign-in from a new device or country also requires an email code. See Security and encryption for the other account controls.

Deleting your account

Account deletion starts removal of documents, Translation Memory, glossaries, termbases, and active account data. Export any language assets you need before confirming because the workspace cannot restore them afterward. The privacy documentation explains the backup-retention period.
