No. DeepReference works with source documents directly (DOCX, PDF, XLSX, PPTX). If your clients exchange SDLXLIFF project packages, you still need Trados for those jobs.

No. Translation is included in DeepReference and uses the glossary, Translation Memory, domain, and tone settings attached to the job. Trados supports several translation providers and Generative Translation; availability and billing depend on that configuration.
